On Friday, November 13, the NAR Board of Directors approved a package of recommendations concerning the Code of Ethics’ applicability to discriminatory speech and conduct. This September marks six years since the kidnapping and murder of Arkansas REALTOR® Beverly Carter, but her legacy lives on through the Beverly Carter Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to REALTOR® Safety. Beverly’s son, Carl Carter Jr, is the Executive Director of this foundation, and he spends his day educating Realtors on the importance of safety and how agents can remain vigilant.
