This is a short story I wrote about a lady who is battling with a crippling eating disorder. In all honestly, I wrote this post to confront what i was doing to myself. It was very hard to write but so incredibly eye opening. 

If you have the same or similar struggles, just know that you are not alone and people truly do care about you. Seek help, you are worth it! You just don't see it yet.

This is a story I wrote a little while ago about a man I developed feelings for. Although this scenario did not take place, this is a rendition of how I imagined happening before meeting him anywhere. I had incredibly low self esteem and would think about all the ways i would find out that he was not interested in me. I hope you enjoy the short story.

My journey through life has sometimes been paved with some discoloured patches. Discoloured from the lens through which I looked at life. Depression, anxiety and and an eating disorder is part of what has discoloured my pathway. However, I am learning to change the lens through which i experience life. It's not always easy; in fact, most of the time it's very difficult but the thought that i am not alone has helped me tremendously. 

I wanted to share this short account of my journey to try show people that they are not alone, and that there is a life on the other side.
