    Letters to my Former Self

    Letters to my Former Self

If you could write a letter to you, a lifetime, a decade, a year ago- what would you say?

We asked writers to reflect on this question.

Some shared wisdom, some scattered the ash. Some simply held their former self close, for just a moment.

Next episode's theme is "What I Found"

    Project Anonymity, Introduction

    Project Anonymity, Introduction

Project Anonymity is a platform for sharing our shipmates inward reflections, small fragments of the mind in the form of stories or essays without tying in an identity. Broad theme essays can be submitted online on an  anonymous platform, and will be read by the hosts. There will be no discussion, no opinions, just the simple offering of the solace of relatability, the familiar sentiment spoken from the lips of a stranger; the beauty of of releasing some portion of being, settling the score to make room for a new round of growth.

In the blackest of nights, we can speak the loudest with our faces obscured from the light. For some, anonymity is a shield from the harsh judgement of the world, and for others, it’s a portal; words once held back by the dam of expectations spill forth, pounding the walls, demanding acknowledgement from every witness. Anonymity is freedom to speak words unspeakable. It is a step forward, or a new view from a step back; it is a brief encounter that leaves you permeated to an extent which might remain unseen for some time. Words surpass recognition, ringing above the heads of the ship’s passengers, solid, steady, Not alone, we forge on.
