    • Documentary

When award-winning producer, writer and social activist Tanya Selvaratnam became a victim of intimate partner violence, she got out - with the help of friends and an intimate violence expert. She also went public by participating in an investigative journalism piece in The New Yorker about her powerful abuser, NY State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Other women he had dated also went public about their abuse at his hands. Schneiderman resigned from his job the day the article was published and recently lost his NY law license for one year.
