    S10 Ep 7: Shea Coulee

    S10 Ep 7: Shea Coulee

"Her name is Shea Couleé, and she didn't come to play, she came to slay!” & THAT THEY DID!!! We were lucky enough to get RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Winner on Table Manners this week and what a dream it was. I've been a HUGE fan of Drag Race (Mama Ru please can I be a guest judge) so it was a pleasure to have the generous, kind and BEYOND fabulous reigning champ Shea tell us about the creation of Ms Couleé, learning to do makeup & who’s their best drag queen friend.
Currently living in Chicago, Shea tells us the go-to hot spots on where to eat in the city, their speciality of whipping up a good ramen, Froyo lusting, adding vodka to a blueberry pie (we need this recipe!) & eating oysters – to chew or not to chew?!
Shantay, you stay Ms Coulée x

    S10 Ep 6: Dawn French

    S10 Ep 6: Dawn French

As you know - mum's chicken soup comes out for the big guns and this week's guest is no exception. Soup was demanded and joyfully served for the brilliant Dawn French to commence an evening of intriguing and confessional conversation.
A fellow foodie, Dawn tells us all about what makes 'the' Cornish pasty, her favourite eating spots in Cornwall, making ‘breakfast cake’ in lockdown and her experience of boarding school dinners and butter. We talk about disastrous auditions, a shared love of Drag race and falling in love. What a delight it was! Check out Dawn's brand new book ‘Because Of You’ that is out now x

    S10 Ep 5: Grace Dent

    S10 Ep 5: Grace Dent

The fantastically glamorous Grace Dent arrived in Clapham having already won mum over with her leopard print dress as soon as she step through the door. The broadcaster, author and restaurant critic joined us round the dinner table for mum's delicious harissa meatballs whilst mum and I fawned over her every word.
We heard about her dad’s famous ‘Sketty’, her love of Angel Delight and a drink she describes as ‘Happiness In A Glass’ - a Pina Colada. The Masterchef regular tells us about growing up ‘up north’, her 'sarcastic face', memories of watching the Blackpool illuminations and how she can get into any restaurant she wants... We obviously exchanged numbers and I'm now will happily be her future plus 1.

Her absolutely brilliant and touching memoir ‘Hungry’ is out on October 29th and is available to preorder now.

    S10 Ep 3: Kylie Minogue

    S10 Ep 3: Kylie Minogue

This is big. This is huge!!!!!
The one and only ultimate pop princess and style icon arrived in Clapham, followed by paparazzi on a hump day.
Kylie was the first concert I ever went too and we named our guinea pigs after her (and Jason) so who can blame me for the fangirl situation! Kylie tells us all about her upbringing in Australia and her journey to fame, where Charlene's famous overalls are now & how she’ll only have a questionable half sized cup of tea.
As if we couldn’t love her anymore, she arrived with a special delivery of her delicious wines @kylieminoguewines - We should be so lucky!!
Listen to Kylie's new single Magic out now x

    S10 Ep 2: James Bay

    S10 Ep 2: James Bay

He didn't wear the hat, but Lennie still loved having James Bay round for dinner. The 'Hold Back The River' heart-throb joined us at mum's for Some Coq Au Riesling (thanks for the recommendation Mr McIntyre), a Passionate Eton mess and plenty of the most delicious red wine courtesy of James. We spoke about busking, his legendary Grammys performance, jumping up and down on a trampoline with Rosie Huntingdon Whiteley, writing his 3rd album and eating cold Heinz Five Beanz. Whadda guy, what a gent. Go and have a listen to James’ wonderful new single Chew On My Heart now.
