Excellent podcast that I recommend
27-04-2022
This podcast is one of my two or three favorites. Whatever the subject, the treatment is always intellectually interesting, valuable for a deeper appreciation of the subject matter, and generally just worth hearing. Ezra addresses his subjects and his guests sensitively yet he is able to discuss deeply. His podcast topics vary enormously so it’s a reflection of his capacity to cover an impressive amount of material. He reveals personal details about himself and his life from time to time which makes his podcasts even more interesting and compelling.
One of the finest podcasts

This is an amazing podcast. If you’ve never listened to it, I envy you, you have some beautiful listening to look forward to. The subjects are broad and not always US focused. The guests are always interesting. But the best is often Ezra himself who is not only astoundingly well read, his subjects are always very researched, but also sounds like the nicest person to talk to. He also pushes the guests very far in the discussion, by his questioning and his own thoughts on the topic. He also is not afraid to tell a guest if he doesn’t agree with all that they are saying. Enjoy it my friends !
Inspiring

I wasn’t expecting to be blown away but I was. I have found myself glued to the podcasts because of the way they make me see new aspects. Be it abortion, sexuality or ask Ezra anything I have come away enriched and full of new ideas on subjects that I had already given lots of thought.
So so

I was expecting a great podcast. This first episode is just so so. Feels a bit flat. No musical logo, no announcements or spoken titles. There is inspiration to be found in other NYT podcasts....
