    Dr. Pere Clavé is the Director of Research and Academic Development at Mataró Hospital, an international reference hospital in the treatment of dysphagia. He is a Founding President in the European Society for Swallowing Disorders, also he is PI. Gastrointestinal Physiology Lab, in ciberehd with 24 clinical and basic researchers dedicated to improve the diagnosis and treatment of Swallowing Disorders, Additionally, he is Professor of Surgery in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, he is the Director: Digestive Functional Explorations Unit at Mataró Hospital and in the Clínica Sagrada Familia, Barcelona- Dr. Clavé and also a Past International Councilor of the Dysphagia Research Society and Japanese Society od Dysphagia Rehabilitation.

Professor of Nutrition at the Open University of Catalonia and researcher in several international clinical trials. Founder and Director of the CPEN, an Endocrionology and Nutrition Clinic Center in Barcelona. Actively involved in the COVID-19 crisis management, he became what we call a Covidologist in the hospitals that took the worst part during the pandemic. He has served on different national committees and is active member of the Spanish Society of Endocrinology (SEEN) and the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO).

Since 2010, he has been the Chairman of the Polish Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (POLSPEN)

    Prof. Stéphane Schneider, heads the Nutrition Support Unit of the Department of Gastroenterology and Nutrition of l’Archet University Hospital in Nice (France) and the Nutrition and Food Liaison Committee of the University Hospital of Nice. He is also vice-president of the French-speaking Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (SFNCM) and ESPEN treasurer. He had a prominent role during the pandemic in his hometown, Nice, by designing the contents of a food basket delivered bi-weekly to more than 10,000 community-dwelling low-income older adults put at risk of malnutrition by the SARS-CoV-2.
