When Julie Kessler welcomed contractors into her home to install a new roof, she never imagined that her pets' lives might be in danger. In a tragic accident, she lost her dog Oakley as a result of the work being done in her home. This led to her starting Oakley's Oath, a non profit, that supports contractors and home renovation companies with a pet safety guide list. We learned a lot and have been enlightened to things that can happen when we break routine.
