When I started out in the film industry in 2015, I was clueless!
As an immigrant with an accent, my first film teacher(Caucasian) literally made fun of me in a class full of people because of my accent and told me without mincing words, that I didn't stand a chance in this industry, I was embarrassed beyond words and I believed there was no place for me to shine in Canada, hence my decision to pursue my film career in Nigeria where I felt I would be accepted without prejudice.
