The Indian Flim Festival of Ireland is the only Indian film festival across Ireland. It is founded on the back of over twenty years of independent film distribution and exhibition organisation under the rubric of Bollywood Ireland Ltd. The festival also aims to create an environment of collaboration between Irish and Indian film makers and to enable the making of Indian-Irish films.

The festival has a number of speical guests including Director in Focus and Debut Director. The festival features the work of these directors along with a mini retrospective of work by a rising or accomplished actor. A gala dinner is held each year to support a good cause.

We talk about film Listen...Amaya, about a daughter struggling to deal with her mother's late relationship. We also talk about the special screenings that are taking place in DCU, DIT and the Chester Beatty Library.
