Despite the challenges she has faced being thrown into the role of caregiver, she refuses to let caregiving define her entire identity. She is a part of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, which will empower her to leverage her experiences and expertise to advocate for fellow caregivers, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive. Stacey and her son, Nathaniel, reside together in the sunny state of Florida and her favorite quote is “Forward from here”. So favorite that she had it tattooed on her wrist, so that when she looks at her watch it reminds her that even though there are good days and bad, we always go forward, whatever that may look like.
