Sunday, June 9, 2024 – Today marks the beginning of a new study on the book of 2nd Peter. This introduction today will set the stage for the many truths that Peter learned from Jesus as he walked and talked with Him over the 3 years they spent together prior to Jesus’ crucifixion, as well as what the Holy Spirit revealed to Peter after the Day of Pentecost. We will talk today about how Peter's 1st and 2nd letters related to the audience of his day and to the urgent matters of our day today. This will be a very timely and effective series, so you’re encouraged to worship and study with us. We’d love to have you be with us in person. Sunday, June 2, 2024 – Today's message is titled "Settling our Account in Heaven." This concludes our study on the letter of Philippians that Paul wrote to the church in Philippi. Throughout this 18-sermon series, we have explored the major theme of JOY and discovered that JOY is a result of a committed and faithful relationship with Jesus. No other relationship can offer joy like this. Today we are being encouraged to be content in all areas of life, regardless of the circumstances, and challenged to be committed in our giving of finances, time, and energy to God. Paul emphasizes that it’s not about how much one gives, but how it’s the spirit of how it’s given that ensures their accounts are credited as a result of their faithful giving. There is much to consider here, so I encourage you to worship and study along to hear the word of the Lord in all these areas.

Sunday, May 26, 2024 – The message's title is “Rejoice for the God of Peace is Near.” We are nearing the close of our study of the book of Philippians, specifically chapter 4. The letter written by Paul focuses on the theme of “JOY” despite his own challenging circumstances while under house arrest in Rome, awaiting trial. Paul sets an example of finding peace and joy in the midst of trouble. In this chapter, he addresses the members of the church as “brothers and sisters,” emphasizing the idea of a loving family unit in God's eyes. Paul also acknowledges that disagreements will arise even in a functional family, and it's important to address them constructively to prevent them from causing division. There is much for us to learn from this. Additionally, he emphasizes the significance of rejoicing in all situations. Rejoicing is a choice, and with a strong foundation in Christ, joy is a result of that rejoicing. Join us for worship and study to deepen your understanding.

Sunday, May 12, 2024, we are celebrating Mother's Day with a special speaker who will be honoring our mothers. Jackie Boog, a worship leader, author, and someone who is very dear to our community, will share some of her life's stories about the love, strength, and grace of being a mom. I promise that you will be blessed as you worship with us on this special day.

Sunday, May 5, 2024 - Today marks the end of our study on "Identity" as described in Romans 8. Over the past 5 weeks, we have explored this topic in depth, and it is fitting to conclude with a message titled "The Identity of a Victor." To truly live out our identity, it is important first to accept the loving forgiveness of Jesus and then make daily choices that demonstrate our ever-growing love for Him by obeying His every command. As we are adopted into God's family, we also join Christ in His suffering to share in His glory. We eagerly anticipate the final step in our adoption when we receive our glorified bodies, free from sin and temptation. This is not a distant dream but a joyous promise that fills us with hope and excitement. We can celebrate this amazing grace as we worship and study today, knowing that nothing in this world can take away the promise of eternal life we have received through Christ.
