The story takes place in the Homebrew world of Aioa, created by Dungeon Master Nigel and follows the story of Eve, a fallen Aasimar who wanted to explore the world and the technology of the continent she had been sheltered from her entire life. Her fall eventually brought her to the Forgemasters who trained her to be an artifier and engineer. The world takes heavy inspiration from the themes and designs of the Eberron setting.

The World of Aioa is divided into 5 continents. Our story takes place in Fenris, a highly technologically advanced continent with wonders such as the arcane railway and airships. A young aasimar, Eve, finds herself trained by the Forgemasters, a guild of artificers, engineers, and elite warriors of the continent who also act as mercenaries and take contract work from other nations.
