Episode 21 - Endgame! SMASH!
We’re back and it’s time we filled you in on everything we have been doing for the last 10 months. Hell no it isn’t! Endgame is in theatres and we have both seen it so it’s time for a full and thorough chat about everything we loved immensely and even some things we loved slightly less. This episode is full of SPOILERS! Basically from beginning to end so if you haven’t seen Avengers : Endgame yet and you don’t want it spoiled you should avoid this episode like the plague, where seeing the movie is like the cure and you should come back with said cure after you have seen it. Anyways, see Endgame then come back and hear what we thought. Leave us a comment and tell us what you think. What did you like? What did we get wrong? Only the comments can tell...

Episode 20 - School's Out!
It’s almost time for summer vacation, but before we go, we’re going to take a look back at all the geeky goodness we’ve covered over the last 6 months. That’s right, it’s a season finale! We’ll update our opinions on some of our favourite (and least favourite) series, movies and games from our first nineteen episodes. We run the gamut from podcasts to movies to card games to soundtracks we’ve discovered (or abandoned) through the show. Because we couldn’t leave without some new stuff, we dissect season 2 and the finale of Legion. And in our final take-home top 3, Chris talks about some of his earliest and favourite comics.
Have an awesome summer - we’ll be back soon with Season Two!

Episode 3 - Rants and Raves
This week we return to the vaults for our last “unreleased” episode, and there’s a lot in here! We compare notes on the premier of Black Lightning and Darren dishes the lowdown on a variety of Marvel TV shows including Runaways and The Gifted. Boardgame coverage includes Bargain Quest and the “Cthulhu” flavour of the classic Pandemic which launches Chris on a tangent about the author H.P. Lovecraft. Plus, this episode marked our very first stab at a Take-home Top Three, and we look at great TV shows that either ended too soon or went on too long. This raises the question... which category would this episode fall under?

Episode 19 - These Vinyl Delights Have Compact Ends
Chris has been keeping up with Season 2 Of Legion, but Darren has not. Darren’s caught up on Westworld season 2 but Chris isn’t. We give each other (and you) a spoiler-free review of these two great shows. Meanwhile, Darren binge watched the second half of Agents of Shield season 5 on the promise of a great crossover with Agengers : Infinity War - find out if he was delighted or disappointed. Chris played the card-drafting game Treasure Hunter, we run down the Geek News of the week, and the Take Home Top 3 has us both reminiscing about the days when we played with toys (or at least when it was more socially acceptable for us to be playing with toys).

Episode 18 - Sex, Death, Music... and Cartoons
It’s a bit of an eclectic mix this week! Darren reports on his highlights from the recent Toronto music festival Field Trip. We both get a little moony-eyed for Saga, the long-running and still excellent sci-fi comic series by Fiona Staples and Brian K. Vaughan. We’ve each seen a movie about not-quite dead people and talk about the drastically different flicks Cargo and Coco. Then I hand in my top-three assignment and name three of my all-time favourite animated movies. Whether they’re really meant for kids or not, these are some excellent films!

Episode 17 - Scoundrels, Kings and Christ
This Time it’s Darren coming back from his vacation in Italy with stories of Food and Art. He also spent his vacation catching up on the USA Network show Colony. Chris killed time while he was gone watching Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and playing the hybrid card and board game Ex Libris. Solo : A Star Wars Story is in theatres and Chris and Darren have both seen it - spoiler alert - this is a full on review. Finally, in our take home top three Darren has a confession to make about his feelings for Musicals while discussing the top three that made an impression on him..
