One of the most powerful words to ever be created is "Father". One could argue God's greatest example of love is that of a father. He's been entrusted to be the living embodiment of integrity, loyalty, perseverance, forgiveness, sacrifice, compassion, selflessness, both the emotional and physical security blanket. With so many positive attributes to offer, why does the media paint a picture of "deadbeat dads" running rampant like the plague, especially within the Africa American community? Why does there seem to be a concerted effort to demonize and diminish the impact of a good father? The CDC debunks that myth in a report providing evidence that the black fathers range #1 across the board in multiple categories! On this Father's Day addition of "How Did We Get Here" we want to pay homage to the fathers that are leading by example to move the culture and the respected communities forward, because action speak louder than words!

Thank you once again for tuning into anther episode of, How Did We Get Here? This week we touch on Skeens turning 41 and Jay getting hustled by kids at the jump park. We also recap the response by Rory and Mal, to the drama and turmoil from the Joe Budden podcast. It seems that they have had more stake in the business than we previously thought. It's all still a conversation about relationships and how lack of communication mixed with money can topple even the tightest of crews. Lastly we discuss the "overnight celebrity" of ex NBA player and "bust" Kwame Brown. Skeens lays out a precise breakdown of the controversial comments by Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes from the popular show, "All The Smoke." Many have jumped on the Kwame train and he is pumping out videos left and right averaging about 150K views per video on Youtube. Is Kwame justified in his spicy responses? Is he speaking to an overall message of pro masculinity and strong community... Or is he just a hypocrite that is using social medias love for controversy and drama to get clicks?
