    RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #010

The words echoed in our hearts as we embarked on a wild adventure. Picture this: wide-open roads stretching across three states—Texas, Utah, and Oregon—each adorned with speed limit signs proudly displaying the magic number: 80. A thrill surged through our veins; we knew that hitting 90 was inevitable. Buckle up, dear listeners, for this show is about to become a rock anthem at RadioWilderLive.com!

‘I Can See for Miles’ with the Who, ’Time Running’ by Tegan and Sarah, and Duke of Earl 'Expressway to Your Heart,' all lined up perfectly. Michael Franti’s reggae-infused beats infused the air with 'A Little Bit of Riddim' and Betty Davis' sultry voice whispered secrets with 'They Say I’m Different'. Ugly Kid Joe and Harry Chapin joined forces as Father and son with 'Cat’s in the Cradle' in The Dueces. Their poignant tale echoed through the wind and we wondered about life’s turns, missed moments, and the road ahead.

What is the difference between 65 miles an hour and 80? Not a mere 15—it feels more like 30! It’s the thrill of breaking barriers, of becoming one with velocity.

To our friends, Tenant Property Protection, in Napa, sipping wine amidst vineyards: may your glasses overflow with memories on your 15th anniversary.

As Memorial Day approaches, turn your dial to RadioWilder. Feel the wind whip through your hair, taste the freedom of 80, and let the music carry you. As always, the request hotline: is toll-free at 602-935-4989.

And as our ship sails toward summer shores, watch for the Capt’n Dave and The Internet Radio Man t-shirts—they’re coming soon!

And as the final notes fade into the sunset, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our cherished listeners. Your ears and hearts give our music a home. Until next time, keep the volume up and the spirit wild. Thank you for tuning into RadioWilderLive.com—where the journey is just as thrilling as the destination.

    RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #009

It was 2020, the year when the world paused. The RadioWilderLive.com crew found rhythm in the quiet - a chance to strum a tune of adventure we’d never played before. We set our sights on the US national parks, with Yellowstone National Park taking the lead.

Two SUVs, packed to the brim with the essentials - food for the soul and fuel for the spirit (and yes, a little liquor for laughter!).

As we rolled into Yellowstone, time slowed down. We weren’t just visitors; we were part of the landscape. Picnic lunches became feasts of freedom, and our cabins at night - sanctuaries of serenity.

In the Badlands of South Dakota, we dined al fresco, the rugged beauty a backdrop to our banquet.

This Flashback Show, aptly named National Park Vacation, echoes the euphoria of those days. “Learning to Fly” by Tom Petty wasn’t just a song; it was our anthem. And “Red, Red Wine”? More than a tune, it was a toast to togetherness, covered beautifully by Neil Diamond and UB40.

“Eight Miles High” by the Byrds soared as high as our spirits, and Jimmy Cliff assured us, “You Can Get It If You Really Want” - and get it, we did. Good News segment spotlighted legends: Jeff Beck, Les Paul, and Sam Cooke.

“Rock On” by T. Rex wasn’t just a song; it was a command, and we obeyed. Celebrations were in order: Tenant Property Protection’s 15th and Ashley Earick’s 17th anniversaries - milestones on our wilder journey.

And a special shout-out to our friends from Denmark on their recent successful tour! And a heartfelt thank you to our listeners, the wilder ones, for tuning in to RadioWilderLive.com and making us a part of your day.

'Passionate Kisses' - a tune that’s touched your lips and heart. But who penned this melody of desire? Not Mary Chapin Carpenter. Both of these songstresses will grace our Deuces are Wilder covers segment with their harmonious renditions at RadioWilderLive.com.

Strumming into the spotlight, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and The Raiders fame joins the Underground Garage crew. Get ready to rock with ‘Good On You Son’ from the Raiders, featured in this week’s sonic lineup. Buffalo Springfield and Black Stone Cherry bring us a real rocker and you will vibe on their 'Big Legged Woman.' Take a walk down memory lane with Uriah Heep’s ‘Lady In Black’, a track that is sure to rekindle some fiery musical memories.

    RWL_FLASHBACK FRIDAY #006

Big shout out to the Arizona Self Storage Association from RadioWilderLive.com! You guys crushed it at the annual Tradeshow last week! Top notch work, Amy, Ray, Anne, Korey, and the whole crew.

Ready to heat things up? It's almost the longest day of the year (June 20th, mark your calendars!) and we've got the tunes to match. This week, Captain Dave dives deep into the Radio Wilder vault for his take on summer solstice!

Haddaway's gonna make you wonder "What is Love?" (Just like Will Ferrell in that hilarious movie, right?). For our Deuces Wild segment, we're taking a trip down memory lane with The Tams and Bill Deal & The Rhondels asking "What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am?" Lucinda Williams helps us banish the bad vibes with "Let's Pray The Devil Back To Hell." Journey's "Wheel in the Sky" takes us on a soaring ride, followed by everyone's favorite self-storage soundtrack - Imagine Dragons' "Whatever It Takes."

Harry's friend, the very talented Bernie Mora, owner of the legendary Chicos Tacos, throws down some serious "Blue Moon Funk!" And to round it out, a classic playlist with "Once Bitten, Twice Shy," "Rollover DJ," and of course, Mr. Hendrix himself with "All Along the Watchtower."

Tune in starting Thursday. Our fearless leader (the executive producer) should have us back up and running by then.

    Thanks for rocking with RadioWilderLive.com!
