Going Home
In this episode, I focus on my new single 'Going Home', otherwise known as 'Local Hero', which was composed and produced by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, for the 1983 Scottish film Local Hero. I talk about how and where Mark and I recorded it, how it became the song for Newcastle United’s Football Club Anthem and how I (unsuccessfully) tried to knock it off that particular pedestal!
