The Orioles were 5-2, and got into some beef with the Milwaukee Brewers. It’s an interesting time to be an Orioles fan, that’s for sure.

Flag Court

Beyond the walls of justice. Beyond the field of fair and foul play. There is a court where cases are heard to determine guilt and innocence in high-fly crimes and misdemeanors. This court is Birdland’s highest court of appeal.

Welcome to FLAG COURT!

Around the Bases

In honor of the Orioles hitting home runs like they’re going out of style, we forego the rest of the bases, and we hit home plate each time…

Home Plate: Craig Kimbrel

Jake was wrong, and it’s amazing. Kimbrel may not have the velocity of old, but he has been something of a magician out there, continuing to shut things down in the back end of the bullpen.

Home Plate: Cole Irvin

Is he done as a starter? Probably. Is it as bad as we think? Probably. Is he better in the ‘pen than a Mike Baumann? Maybe? Ick.

Home Plate: Albert Suarez

What a fantastic story. After having the anti-Jake Fox Spring Training, Suarez was called up in a moment of need, and rose to the occasion. Can he cement himself as a fifth starter? Can he become an effective reliever?

Home Plate: Grayson Rodriguez

Grayson is learning to pitch at the major league level, and he is doing so convincingly. With or without his best stuff, he has become a comfortable presence in the Orioles rotation, and we are here for it.

Fantasy Boss

Jake takes week two, and is now up 2-0. Cedric Mullins got his 3rd dong in dramatic style on Wednesday, eking out a victory over Anthony Santander’s two.

The score now stands at 2-0, Jake.
