QTRL Graduate Research Assistants Elio Colavito and Kanika Lawton discuss how their time at the Queer and Trans Research Lab has informed their own work and lives; Elio reflects on how their work has influenced their perspective on navigating a neurotypical world, and Kanika unpacks how working on Asian-American studies has augmented their research in Trans and Queer of Color theory and Ornamentalism.
