Cystic Fibrosis, an inherited disease that damages the lungs and digestive system, fewer than 200,000 diagnosed cases each year, this is what we’ll be addressing in this inspiring episode. Meet my name twin, a fellow Lauren Marie, a woman who’s life changed dramatically after receiving a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis in her early 20’s. This girl epitomizes the warrior in warrior Woman. She’s been fighting the battle of this illness with grace for over ten years now, and has made the tremendous decision to become a mother, recently finding out she’s pregnant with TWINS! Here is her brief, but inspiring, persevering story, I would have loved to record with her longer, but something tells me they’ll eventually be a part II to this!
