When the PHLY Flyers wishlists were published last week, we got a few comments about John Tortorella’s “open contempt” for Trevor Zegras, stemming from his comments about the Zegras/Sonny Milano “Michigan” goal from December 2021. But were those comments really that inflammatory? Would they hurt the chances of Danny Briere acquiring Zegras from Anaheim?

Two years ago today (June 17, 2022), John Tortorella was named head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers. His tenure has been filled with funny quotes, several controversies, a suspension, and all the typical Torts shenanigans.
