24. Carolina Panthers & the Redskins Youth Movement Offseason Champions - Washington Redskins

    • Futebol americano

Do two games constitute a Win Streak? Well why not… The Redskins are on their hottest win streak of the season after beating the Carolina Panthers on the road 29-21. Well it's nothing to get too excited about, but damn it feels good to Win again, bringing our season record to 3-9… Although the game started with Carolina gashing the D on their first two possessions and going up 14-0, the young defensive group remained composed, bounced back and shut them down for the rest day finishing with seven sacks, one fumble and one interception. And similar to our Defense, after some early struggles, the offense came alive in a big way led by our ground and pound, one two punch of Adrian Peterson and Derrius Guice, the latter of which had a career day… the offensive line was getting a great push and to be honest both lines really dominated both sides of the ball… It was a great team win and was really fun to watch the team play with such confidence. It’s been such a long season to this point and we’ve looked so bad and lost so much that any semblance of good play and success feels great…

In Episode Twenty-Four, I cover the good, the bad and the ugly of the Redskins twelfth regular season game of the 2019 season against the Carolina Panthers… I review the game overall, Dwayne Haskins continued development and ultimately underwhelming performance, the long awaited return of the dominant run game and our defensive front’s big day… I take a deep dive into the youth movement quietly happening for the Redskins, and just how much hope these young offensive weapons and defensive studs should give us… I briefly discuss the rumors that Bruce Allen may finally be on the hot seat, as its been reported that Dan Snyder is evaluating his performance…. and finally, I close the Podcast with my prediction for the upcoming week fourteen game against the Green Bay Packers…

As always, enjoy my unsolicited and unrealistically optimistic opinions on all things Washington Redskins in this Episode covering the 2019 Week Thirteen Win against the Carolina Panthers… If you are enjoying the Podcast (and I hope that you are), please subscribe, leave a rating or review and tell a friend, it really helps to reach a wider audience and I would be very grateful… if you don't already, please follow me on Twitter @HTTRChamps and as always, #HTTR
