That one word - "Ask" - what does it mean to you?

Bible Verses Referenced:

James 1:5-6 - "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God.  When he asks, he must believe and not doubt."
Jeremiah 6:16 - "Ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."
Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
1 John 5:14 – “If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
Romans 8:5-8 MSG - "The law always ends up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it."

Key Points:

Ask...then...Believe God for it!

God’s promises are stronger than our feelings.
I can’t allow the way I feel on a particular day to set the direction for my life.

I was challenged to not pray blanket prayers, but to be specific.
