    AsKennything #3 - Joseph Bangura

Joseph Bangura is a mate of mine,  who in early 2020 during COVID lockdown was inspired to created his own podcast, 'Unannounced.' Unannounced highlights the importance in speaking out about struggles with mental health and just being transparent with those around you with what you may be going through. It contains a very strong message and I implore you to go check it out if you haven't already.

We speak about the growing pains of starting a podcast from scratch and laugh about the learning curve with a lack of expertise. I was really keen to hear about his own experiences and bounce some things off him. I very much enjoyed speaking with Joseph and I hope you enjoy the listen!

p.s. had some issues with my editing software so I'm praying none of it's corrupted. Might have to splash out and buy the Adobe Package. F***. I need a sponsor.

    AsKennything #2 - George Burbury

    AsKennything #2 - George Burbury

For this episode I was lucky enough to sit down with 'The GOAT', George Burbury. Since returning to Hobart in late 2019 and joining the Hutchins Old Boys, Burbs has had quite the impact on and off the footy field.

George was rookie drafted to a champion Geelong side in 2010, where he spent 4 years in the system before coming out of professional sport and in to a completely different landscape. I love the way George speaks on his experiences in football and the mindset of his change in pathways. He now works in commercial realestate and is part owner of happi studios with his fiancé, Anita.

We touch on what was a massive season for George and the Hutchins footy club in 2020, and his decision to rejoin the Lions despite an abundance of offers from other clubs in Tasmania. Enjoy!

    AsKennything #1 - Will Campbell

    AsKennything #1 - Will Campbell

'Soup' Campbell is someone very close to me, physically and emotionally. We are great mates and roomies, and of course for this reason have spoken about doing a podcast together for quite a long time.

I wanted Soup to be my first guest, to discuss his life story thus far with a large focus on his footballing career. Soup is the vice-captain of the Kingborough Tigers in the TSL and one of the best midfielders in the competition. His journey hasn't always been straightforward, after suffering a career-threatening leg injury in late 2018 whilst enjoying recreational time near his family's farming property in Bothwell. We speak about what he went through during his rehabilitation, and the life lessons taken from a very difficult time. We also touch on Soup's life outside of football, and enjoy a few fan questions at the end. Hope you enjoy!
