#11: Amrit Sandhu, Finding Fulfillment and Success in Podcasting

To see the video version of this interview, check it out here: https://youtu.be/kUilT05GbF0

Amrit was initially introduced to me as an idea, a concept from his now wife Kae, whom I met in Barcelona at Mindvalley University. He was said to be this giant ball of energy taking form in a structural engineer working as a supervisor for a construction firm in Australia.

A month later, I went on his brand new podcast as one of his first guests.. And we became lightning fast friends, met in Estonia the following year, and I traveled all the way to Melbourne to have a week of hangouts.

In this episode we discuss his learnings on fulfillment, the critical role his philosophical father played in his childhood, the beginning of his podcasting career, some of the lessons that were taught along the way, and more.

Check out the video version of this episode here: https://youtu.be/gdbOuGah7nY

Jacques is one of my all time favorite teachers. He taught a course called Functional Neuroscience that I attended twice in the Pacific Palisades, California back in 2013-2014. The course broke my mind and put it back together and today we discuss many of the ideas I learned there and we go beyond into what he is thinking about now.

It's not often in life I meet someone who I think is one of the next great leaders of our generation yet I've found one of them here, in
    Fredrick Bussey.

If I can speak for all ravenous learners, this man deserves our attention and our eager ears.

Many people post valuable content, some post entertaining and valuable content, and a select few share knowledge that I book mark to consume whenever I have a spare 5 minutes where I desire inspiration.

Fredrick is one of those people that I will read everything he shares.

    Ever Forward.

#8: Financial Freedom Stories with Serial Entrepreneur Eric Edmeades, Founder of Wildfit and Business Freedom Speaking Academy

To check out the video version of this episode click here: https://youtu.be/nxoXR6KpWpg

In this episode we dive into the stories from Eric’s adolescence and 20’s to see what experiences made him who he is today. I’m hoping to do a follow up to cover the rest of the 30’s through today but as you can see it took us 90 minutes to cover what we did.

We discuss how he found his first talents during a job in his teenage years-

Having a conversation with a role model and how that inspired him to create a $250k year income-

Leaving his high paying job for ethical reasons while being in a foreign country with a wife and new baby on the way! (With no savings but having just wiped out his debt) -

The strategies he used back then to get through this very hard time and what he would say to someone now who was going through a job or income loss -

How he fell into building his first company while in said foreign country and the hardships he lived through during it including a divorce and his son moving away -

We cover a little bit of the story on selling the company and the aftermath of that freedom -

    Enjoy!

My favorite theme in books and podcasts for the last year has been not in hearing the strategies people have used or the KPI’s they are tracking — it’s been listening to the stories of their real lives. How does Elon deal with parking tickets? What’s his thought process there? What does Bob Iger think about when his kids are screaming their heads off?

I love learning about what makes my heroes tick. Enter: @TheJasonGoldberg.

In this deep conversation with the unbelievably awesome Jason Goldberg we dive into self love, fulfillment, real life stories about depression, suicidal thoughts, and the overcoming of obstacles in modern life. Enjoy!
