This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 1991 American action adventure film, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.Thomas starts a Project! Colin used to be an adventurer like you. Then he took an arrow in the knee. And the eye. Both Morgan Creek Productions and Disney have used Michael Kamen's "Overture/ A Prisoner of the Crusades", from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves: https://youtu.be/OLIG-_pz39Q https://youtu.be/WtkGSsVh9Wc https://youtu.be/mDdCvpfEHO0

2010: The Year We Make Contact
This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 1984 Sci-fi/Adventure, 2010: The Year We Make Contact.Thomas tries to have his cake and eat it too. Colin is far more competent in his cake-consuming capabilities. Thomas hitchhikes into left field. Colin completely loses the plot.Incidentally, SAL-9000's voice, credited to Olga Mallsnerd, is actually Candice Bergen. (The name Mallsnerd is a play on the name of one of the characters created by her ventriloquist father Edgar.)

Asteroid City
This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 2023 American comedy-drama film, Asteroid City.Thomas reveals his Flat-Earther allegiances. Colin completely and frustratingly fails to remember -until he sits down to edit the episode, when it comes to him instantly- the name of the strong westerly winds that occur in the Southern Hemisphere, generally between the latitudes of 40° and 50° south. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roaring_FortiesThe somewhat NSFW Monty Python Oscar Wilde Sketch: https://vimeo.com/680960970
Correction: Colin would actually need to aim considerably more south to fly directly over South Africa, not north, as Thomas protested. (Great circles!)

Capricorn One
This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 1977 British-produced American Sci-Fi Thriller, Capricorn One.Thomas does The Thing. Colin has an idea for his next film.A reminder to the confused: The "Liberal" party in Australia is a conservative party (think US Republican) rather than a lower-case-L-liberal (think US Democrats) party."Calling an audible" is a term from American Football that refers to when the quarterback changes the play at the last minute due to how the defense is lining up. This is a last minute change that highly depends upon the ability of the quarterback to identify its necessity.
