M&S drops its ban on the use of Alpaca wool in clothes
M&S originally banned the fibre in 2020 following pressure from campaign group Peta, who raised concerns around the welfare of shearing the animals. Since then, confidence has been restored following the launch of a voluntary programme, the 'Responsible Alpaca Standard' to tell us more Paul O Brennan, Vice Chair of the Alpaca Association of Ireland.

One in five pupils report incidents of bullying in our schools according to new report
About one quarter of primary and post primary pupils reported that they were bullied while a third of post primary pupils said they didn't feel they could fully express themselves in the school environment. Waterways Ireland opens restored stretch of the Ulster Canal
It's the second of three phases of restoration. The 1.5 kilometres goes from Clones to Clonfad in County Monaghan and includes a new marina in Clones, restored canal and towpath and engineering works. To tell us more Waterways Ireland chief executive John McDonagh.
