EP 30: HUMILITY with Jervy Cruz For The Love of The Game
-
- Esportes
(February 17, 2021) Jervy Cruz had only one thing in mind when he wanted to play college basketball in Manila. It wasn't about the fame, the fortune, or playing in the pro league. For Jervy, studying college with a full scholarship was what mattered the most.
Accepted to the University of Sto. Tomas basketball program, Jervy ended up spending 4 years in the Team B before a coaching change in 2006, putting Coach Pido Jarencio at the helm, that gave Jervy the opportunity of a lifetime to finally play in the UAAP.
At that point on, never did he look back on what became a long and fruitful basketball career that started out with just the hopes of a college education.
