Episode 12: A Poetic Word Once Upon A Nye

This episode I am sitting down with Orayne Williams, author of, " A Poetic Word". Mr. Williams, has been writing poems since he was a child growing up in Kingston, Jamaica. At the age of 12 he read the Book of Psalms and loved how poetic it sounded. As a teen faced with homelessness and separation from his family. Poetry kept him sane. Mr. Williams, earned his BA in English at John Jay College for Criminal Justice. Mr. Williams has founded the Progressive People Movement Inc, a non-profit organization that provides advocacy, scholarship, and life skills training to youth living in New York City homeless shelters. Mr. Williams, also earned a MSW from Fordham University. Upon graduating with his Master's Degree in Social Work, he and joined The Bronx Defenders to provide comprehensive legal and social services to families caught up in the criminal legal and family regulation systems in the Bronx. Mr. Williams, recently obtained his professional Life/Professional Life Coach certification.
