Moses, M.D. is a practicing psychiatrist with more than 45 years of experience treating drug and alcohol addiction/abuse. He is a clinical instructor on the voluntary staff of North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. He has also served as an instructor in psychotherapy at Columbia P & S (NY Presbyterian) Hospital in New York. His experience with drug addiction began in 1962 on the heroin detoxification unit of Metropolitan Hospital in New York. Following this period, Dr. Moses was a psychiatric consultant to the Long Island Jewish Hospital Adolescent Drug Day-Treatment Center and the Triboro Hospital Opiate Addiction Unit. Currently, he is in private practice using psychodynamic therapy in the outpatient treatment of drug and alcohol abusers.
