old year review and non new years resolutions

The last semester was difficult and I want to be a better person this year. well more specifically, a better friend and better classmate. I want to get into new hobbies and not lose myself as much as I did last semester. A song I've really enjoyed recently - "Get Outta My Way" by Kylie Minogue Oh, and I've been reading a lot of books. Turning 20; reflecting on 10-19

Getting older is sappy. It's tough sometimes because lots of things change. You learn a lot about yourself; how wonderful you are and how terrible you can be. You begin to realize self-worth and self-destruction. You thank and you apologize and that's life. I wish happiness on myself and on everyone. Learning how to have friends! + impulse buying :)

Since I've last been here: weight gain, being tooooo close to friends - finding my boundaries, and being myself, and impulse buying shoes and food. I can spend so much money on shoes, pants, shirts, and nail polish its kind of stupid

Missed Call: Letting things go is not the same as quitting

I hate quitting but this time I have to realize that I'm letting things go temporarily so that I can come back and be proud of who I am and my contributions and work. It's hard to let go though.

Missed Call: millie, petco hamsters, dump trunks

Ethan and I spent the day with millie rock. We brought her home and then went to Petco and saw some hamsters with huge genitals and mistook them as females. I scroll through some of my saved posts with you. btw Tubbies was fantastic at the gym and didn't bark and was very calm.

Maybe lower the volume, forgot to make it quieter and I'm quite loud :) I got the stummy virus :( I learned a bit about snowboarding at Shawnee Mountain Ski Resort. multiple trips to urgent care and the doctor :( never eating my moms food again. hab to take physics test and homework.

Missed Call: Feb 11 2021

Been a bit busy, tired, and exhausted. Just got a Brita filter so I will no longer be dehydrated. New sleep schedule. Super thankful for the friends in my life, but today I reflected on what a good friend is and what a not-so-good friend is. I'm a bit ready to let go of one of my not-so-good friends simply because of the lack of respect. Prof. Wolf and Prof. Lima shenanigans. You are important and you deserve respect and love and attention - no matter the circumstances.
