Hi! My name is Hannah and I’ll be discussing controversial topics — particularly ones involving social justice and/or civil rights — that are dominating the news today. Also, I will be engaging in civil discourse with many of my peers or even strangers. Through interviews, discussions, and research, I hope my podcast inspires you to be more engaged in politics, civil discourse, and to further discover the world around you. This is our world, told through the experiences of the people living in it. Until next time, Hannah Li.

    #MeToo on the Workplace

This episode not only gives an overview of the #MeToo Movement, but also discusses the history and effects of it. In an interview with Will Franzen, he and I engage in civil discourse and debate whether or not the movement was a catalyst for ending workplace sexual harassment. Additionally, the episode delves into what does it mean to be a woman, particularly a woman in a leadership position, in the work force in an interview with Genentech’s Principal Medical Science Director, Jia Yuan Li. I hope after listening to my podcast, you develop your own opinion on the #MeToo Movement and/or understand opposing positions.
