Public policy affects anyone who drives a car, goes to school, seeks medical attention, pays taxes, has children, grows old, or even breathes. And graduates of the Harris School walk away equipped to make an impact, whatever the problem, wherever the location.

Our Mission: To understand and influence public policies by conducting policy-relevant research and preparing talented individuals to become leaders and agents of social change. To serve as a liaison between the academy's research on public policy questions and practitioners in the field.
