Hit & Run with Matt Spiegel Audacy

After that, Spiegel discussed how White Sox television play-byplay announcer John Schriffen shouted out a franchise legend on a home run call Saturday. Later, Spiegel discussed a possible World Series preview that's taking place in the Bronx this weekend.

In the second hour, Matt Spiegel was joined by Red Sox radio play-by-play announcer Will Flemming to discuss the team's matchup against the White Sox, who have taken two of the first three games in the series. Flemming was also in the running for the White Sox television play-by-play job this past offseason. Later, Spiegel shared his Team of the Moment — the Kansas City Royals.

In the final hour, Matt Spiegel was joined by Eno Saris from The Athletic to discuss his recent article on Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson and how his results are now better lining up with his process. Later, we hear from Cubs infielder Michael Busch on the pregame show about being penciled in to play second base against the Reds on Sunday. Busch usually plays first base.
