Kirsty Nancarrow began telling stories as soon as she learned to write. She spent 15 years reporting for ABC News and Current Affairs in Far North Queensland, before a chance interview with a Nepalese Australian – Som Tamang – changed her career trajectory.
Kirsty's debut book Himalayan Dreams shares the remarkable story of Som Tamang, who overcame incredible odds to empower children in rural Nepal through education.
