HP1: The Podcast Houston Coley

This week on the show, I'm talking to my buddy Taylor J. Williams - he's an incredibly insightful "film guy" on YouTube with some great film culture analysis videos you should totally check out. Today, we're talking about NYU and the merits of film school, our awful movie theater experiences, the few movies we've seen this year, and more.

This week on the show, I sat down with my good friend Ben Chinapen - AKA Ben From Canada - to talk about whatever came to mind. Ben is the editor for Mr. Sunday Movies, as well as an amazing writer, filmmaker, YouTuber, musician and actor in his own right. We've known each other for several years, and we were supposed to meet up for lunch when I was in England, but it never worked out. As such, this was the first time we've ever talked face to face; it's really just a casual conversation between two creatives sharing their experiences with each other. I hope you'll enjoy it!

Johnathon and I have been DMing back and forth for the past few weeks talking constantly about the recent controversy around Hamilton, so we figured it was time to publicly record and post our thoughts about it so that we can be incriminated for our opinions in 5 years. Anyway, uh, we also talk about Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Last Jedi! It was good. I enjoyed it, and uh, maybe you will too?
