Welcome to episode 11!

On this episode I’ll be recapping the latest UFC Fight Night card headlined by Cory Sandhagen and Marlon Moraes. However, the big story was not Sandhagen’s victory over Moraes, but Joaquin Buckley’s incredible KO over Kasanganay, who I repeatedly called “Kayongsong”. What an embarrassing blunder. My bad (shoutout to Mike Goldberg).

Also on the card, Edson Barboza picked up a victory over Makwan Amirkhani in routine fashion, but I discuss how deceiving his recent UFC record has been. Furthermore, Tom Aspinall continues his ascent up the UFC heavyweight hierarchy with a win against Alan Baudot. Finally, I discuss the first MMA show in history to occur in France! (it’s more of a Bellator rant though, sadly).

Hey guys, episode 10.5!

Yes, I know… I skipped Holm vs Aldana, but come on - can you blame me? Instead of episode 11, here’s a long awaited news episode!

Today I’ll be discussing whether or not Israel Adesanya went too far by humping Paulo Costa after their fight at UFC 253.

Also, I’ll be looking at the feud between Conor McGregor and UFC president Dana White and the implications it could have for the future of the sport (also - what’s Dustin Poirer’s role?).

I’ll also talk about the hypothetical Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya matchup and whether or not I think it will ever happen.

I also check in on the news of a potential fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson (6th time lucky).

Leon Edwards gets a look in and finally, a bit of much deserved praise for Bellator.

Episode 10! A milestone! (kind of)

Welcome back to another episode of I Know Nothing About MMA and on today’s episode we’re going to be discussing the action from UFC 253, including Israel Adesanya’s dominant victory against Paulo Costa. He’s really that good. Also on the PPV, Jan Blachowicz wins the UFC light heavyweight championship defeating Dominick Reyes by stoppage.

We’ll also be talking about some other fights on the card and I plead for the retirement of Diego Sanchez

Finally, boxing’s back on the podcast! The Charlo twins headline a PPV together! Twins that are both legitimate world champion fighters - that’s crazy to me!

Nearly at episode 10! How about that?! This week in the news I look at the fallout from UFC Fight Night: Covington vs Woodley and I defend Teddy Atlas' admittedly outrageous (on the surface) comparison between Muhummad Ali and Colby Covington. Also, where does Tyron Woodley go from here? Is his future in the UFC? I also steal a bit of content from the lads at Morning Kombat by discussing the UFC's responsibility (or lack of) when it comes to censoring fighters' opinions when they are potentially damaging and misinforming. Lastly, I have a quick rant about rankings!
