We are joined by George Mitchell and Greg Parry from FocusPerform (https://focusperform.co.uk), as well as a new temporary host, Joshua, where they talk about how they got into sport psychology, their pathway/training route, the similarities and differences of practicing in the UK and Malaysia, and their work now. 

    George and Greg recently passed their British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES - SE) accreditation.     Kimberly Janet - If not now, when?

    On this episode, we are joined by Kimberly Janet, a national fencer who recently represented Malaysia at the SEA Games 2019 in the Philippines. Before the SEA Games in 2019, she stepped away from fencing for 9 years to focus on her career as a health business development manager, but decided to come back due to her passion for fencing. So she quit her job and focused on coming back into fencing and getting into the national squad for the SEA Games 2019.

    Out of many things, we talk about the challenges of coming back to the sport after such a long hiatus, the support given to her during her sporting career, her experience in fencing, and the journey that she went through represent her country even after being out of the sport for so long.
