One full year cycle after birthing her son Bodhi at the island of Ibiza, Arktara is sharing her birthing journey with us all. From conception to pregnancy, birth and beyond, full of wisdom and pearls to be shared and uncovered from this initiation into her journey of motherhood. 

Arktara is sharing about her experience on moving from Maiden to Mother, including the more challenging bits of this journey, like the process of letting go of the conditioning received from society on how birth is portrayed. How she gave space to the vision of birth that she wanted for herself - birth as a ceremony. In a state of deep connection and deep trust, feeling the strenght and wisdom within herself and of all of the women who had given birth before her. Leading up to the dreambirth she experienced herself. Sharing as well on the integration of the birth of herself as a mother and the labyrinth, twists and turns and pearls of wisdom collected on this journey.

Her own journey into becoming a single mom inspired her to show up in different ways for women on their path into motherhood.

Yessss! Another episode is out with the inspiring international midwife and lactation consultent Krishinda Powers Duff. She is a Goddess, teacher, and cosmic mother who currently works around Barcelona. Give a listen to this podcast if you are interested in hearing the unfiltered perspective and truth from what Krishinda has seen and experienced in the field of birth, the way the birthing system operates and (mal)functions, etc etc. It is time to move forwards and build the vision for a new birth for the future. I have had the honor to be apprenticing with Krishinda for the last three months which has been an incredible joy and deep learning experience.

For this episode I invited traditional midwife Fabienne Satinka. Fabienne lives in the South of France and for about 25 years has been passionately sharing her services as a medicine woman and shamanic midwife. Singing and dancing is her main medicine and her strong connection with nature and the spiritual world guides her in her work. She deeply understands the spiritual and soulful aspects of birth and related and assists families in their healing, conception, pregnancy and birthing journey. With much love and joy for the new souls that are coming.  In this episode, we mainly focus upon the topic of Conscious Conception & Birth to invite depth and understanding to the spiritual aspects of this beautiful process of bringing life on earth.

My friend Adriana gave birth to her son Leo at the shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, on July 19th 2018 at 3:45am. She birthed at home in the bathtub after about 4/5 hours of active labour. May you be inspired by her story and view on natural birth and how she went about to create the birthing experience that she wanted for herself and her son - to be able to tap into her animal self and give birth in that state. She perceives birth as a natural part of life and shares her birthstory as a rather shamanic journey with some orgasmic experiences to it.
