The Origin of Santa in Klaus
Kerri and Dan spend their Christmas day season finale talking about the Oscar-nominated animated film Klaus. The movie mythologizes the origin of Santa by having him be a lonely toymaker who finds himself in cahoots with a postman delivering toys to the local kids of a town run by warring klans—and it totally works. Together, the duo discuss the gorgeous animation, their love for the Márgu, and their appreciation for essential workers.

It's a Dolly Smoky Mountain Christmas Eve
Dolly Parton* drops by to discuss A Smoky Mountain Christmas with Kerri and Dan. The movie, directed by Henry Winkler (yes, the Fonz), follows Dolly as a pop star who finds her small-town winter getaway charmingly invaded by orphans (sound familiar?). In this Christmas Eve episode, the trio share their love for Jezebel the witch, the musical numbers, and the '80s magic of it all. *Special guest is The Gay Goods editor-in-chief Mark Peikert.

The Feliz NaviDAD That Wasn't

Everything about this movie should be right: a single dad (Lopez) tries to get on the dating scene again, the daughter is part of a hand bell/a capella group, and the family gets to show off its Latinx heritage. Finding a Holidate for All Seasons
