    55. When GPT Met Belgium

    55. When GPT Met Belgium

Neil and Nicola are back to postulate on the state of mundanity and pop culture! On this episode they get techie in the beginning as they ruminate on the practical usefulness and accuracy of Chat GPT (2:23). Plus will Scarlett defeat Altman (and is talk of Zuck with a beard real)? Then, they discuss the recent fallout surrounding the Dublin-NYC interactive video portal (9:00). What does it say about us as humans? Were there more Irish mooners than Americans? And what other cities could adopt the same concept?
Then, it's on to what is becoming a recurring segment: Neil Hearts Belgium (19:55). Nicola takes Neil through a postulation gauntlet of Belgian records (19:55), which one should they be remembered for? The longest ever plank? A bankrupt airline? A waste of good chocolate? How about the longest period without a sitting government?
All of this and much more on this episode of LIP! Keep postulating, listeners!

    54. Melodic Trends & Loose Ends

    54. Melodic Trends & Loose Ends

This episode is jam-packed with all the postulatory loose ends you did not think needed tying. Nicola and Neil power their way through a personalized celebrity cover, the importance (or lack thereof) of the Eurovision project (3:30) and whether or not we need an Average Joe Olympic Games.
Neil provides an update on his recent bed buying experience including a postulation on paying someone to move your old bed for you (13:30). Then, it's apology time as the guys apologize to Germans (and their cuisine) (29:10) and Dutch sick bag collectors the world over (33:00). Nicola rounds things off by taking Neil back to the mundane streak gauntlet; will chicken nuggets or map drawing dethrone the Big Mac (34:40)?
All of this and much more on this episode of LIP! Keep postulating, listeners!

    53. Smells Like Streak Spirit

    53. Smells Like Streak Spirit

After an atrocious attempt at an introduction in Irish, Nicola runs Neil through a gauntlet of mundane streaks, challenging him to pick one to stick to (4:35). Will he choose Will Shortz's streak of playing table tennis everyday for 10 years? Or will he eat at least one Big Mac everyday for the rest of his life? What about collecting as many sick bags as possible? The postulations are endless and quite weird!
Then, listeners, press start as Neil postulates on the future of video game adaptations (32:00). Are we living in the renaissance age of video games made into movies and TV series? What is driving it and what can we expect to see next?
All of this and much more on this episode of LIP! Keep postulating, listeners!

    52. Do You Eat To Live Or Live To Eat?

    52. Do You Eat To Live Or Live To Eat?

Postulators, assemble! On this edition we postulate on the addictiveness of online games. Where are we after the thousandth Wordle? How many immaculate grids can there possibly be? And who is more likely to crack on their streaks, Neil or Nicola?
Then, since nothing gets our hosts more excited than staring at a nice map and eating a lovely meal, we decided to combine the two (7:15). Nicola presents his theory of an Eat To Live/Live To Eat meridian that splits Europe equally and they go about testing the hypothesis live on the podcast. Where will your favorite country land? Why does Germany get its own category? Do we underestimate the Balkans? And could the Baltic block pull off a historic upset?
All of this and much more on this episode of LIP! Keep postulating, listeners!

    51. Bedtime Beats and Athletic Feats

    51. Bedtime Beats and Athletic Feats

After extensive celebrations following the release of LIP L, Neil and Nicola are back with some tremendously mundane postulations!
First, Neil wants hilly running races to get the recognition they deserve from the various obscure organization committees (as well as to have you follow him on Strava) (1:47). Then, is skiing the most arrogant assertion of mankind's dominance over nature (9:50)?
Afterwards, it's good night listeners, as the guys postulate on strategies for bed buying, which turns out to be a much more complicated process than one might expect (20:20). Is the bed salesperson a step above or below the used car salesman? And are VTPs unfairly discriminated against when it comes to bed building?
They round things off by taking you behind the curtain of 'Parent Corner' and ruminating on whether the type of music being played makes any difference at all for the six month old listening to it (37:48).
    Keep postulating, listeners!
