Since the very beginings of pro wrestling there has been blood in matches. From busted noses to cut up foreheads to blood vessles being broken on knife edge chops we've seen blood flow out of our favorite wrestlers. With new knowledge from medical science over the past few years a lot of opinions on how blood should relate to wrestling have changed. Some states have very exacting regulations for when blood is introduced during a match and have had them for decades. Other states have no regulations and it's up to the promotion to decide. Some wrestlers, seemingly, bleed buckets almost every match like Abdullah the Butcher, Tommy Rich, and Bobby Heenan. Others rarely, if ever, bleed in matches.
