This episode dives into the subjects of stalking and sexual abuse/sexual assault as we discuss the Netflix Limited Series, Baby Reindeer released this year.  *TRIGGER WARNING* we do discuss spoilers and some of the events depicted in this series so if that is something that makes you uncomfortable, we understand if you skip this episode.  
We decided to cover this one in a slightly tweaked version of Interstellar Interstitials so we hope you enjoy that and leave us some feedback and maybe we will do more limited series in the future.
If you or anyone you know has been the victim of sexual abuse or violence, need help with thoughts of self harm or suicide, or need help with mental health and well being as a result or trauma or in general, please reach out for help.

It's March which means it's Leiann's Birthday month so we are watching movies of her choosing.  We kick off this episode talking a bit about the recently released docuseries Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV and how it made us feel equally depressed, saddened, disgusted and angry and how I've been going back through the early 2000's superhero series Smallville.  Then we get into the meat of the episode by discussing the1980 David Lynch directed film, The Elephant Man, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins and Sir John Hurt....in Interstellar Interstitial style of course.  
We recommend you watch the movie before listening to this episode as we do spoil the movie because it's difficult to discuss such a beautifully tragic film without spoilers.  (Apologies for what sounds like something banging off of microphones, that was my insulated tumbler getting set on our table).

First Watch February comes to a close with a hell of a finale. Leiann and I were joined by our very good friend and fellow podcaster from Strange Highways, Paul Steadman and his lovely wife Mary to discuss Satoshi Kon's 1997 animated feature Perfect Blue.  It's always a blast to talk with Paul and it was even better having Mary on as well to talk about a movie they both have a lot of love for that Leiann and I experienced for the first time.  This was one hell of a way to close out First Watch February 2024!
