MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Anaheim Angels

MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Anaheim Angels

In this episode of Sports the NEMO Way we bring the best Angels of all time to the table for discussion. Now what can I say about the Angels. Well to be totally honest I wasn't really sure, but then I was like let me look up some funny things about the Angels franchise. There was the birth of a rally monkey for their World Series run. There Is a Movie about some foster kids who love the Angles and somehow get angels to help the baseball team out. That movie stars Danny Glover and Tony Danza. The last funny thing about the team is that they had one of the best baseball players which was Otani and they sucked. Now they don't have Otani and they still suck. I was thinking I was going somewhere with this, but then all I could come up with is that the Angels just suck. The Angels almost suck as Kathleen Kennedy with running Star Wars, but no one sucks as much as her so good job Angles you got that going for you. So go listen to the episode, and learn about some Angels that were actually winners.

MLB's Mount Rushmore Sereis: Oakland Athletics

MLB's Mount Rushmore Sereis: Oakland Athletics

In this episode of Sports the NEMO Way we bring the best Athletics to the table for discussion. What can I say about the Athletics franchise? Well what comes to mind not a damn thing really. You're probably like what do you mean not a damn thing. Well besides the players of old what have the franchise done besides screw the Oakland fans and are moving to Las Vegas the new Mecca of sports apparently. I mean the only original team Vegas has is a hockey team the other two they relocated from California . Those Raiders haven't been relevant since hearing Dvante Adams was in trade rumors, and the Athletics haven't been relevant since Brad Pitt played Billy Bean in "Money Ball". I think I was going somewhere with this, but I lost my train of thought while watching the "Trailer Park Boys". So before I start making another joke about Lebum James or something about Brittney Griner you should go listen to the episode and learn about some legends of the Athletics.

MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Chicago Cubs

MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Chicago Cubs

In this episode of Sports the NEMO Way we bring the Best Cubs to the table for discussion. I hate to bring up old stuff, but when do I ever get to make fun of the Cubs Never! It's always Lebum James and that gets old. So in this episode description I'm going to list things that are 108 years old. You ask well why do that well that's how long their World Series drought was so low hanging fruit this week so here we go....So much for that idea try searching what are companies that are 108 years old not a damn answer I was looking for so I have a back up joke. You know your team was so bad that it took a kid to trip on a baseball breaks his arm then his tendon heals too tightly, and this kid ends up being able to throw a baseball super fast. Since he lives in Chicago the kid gets signed by the Cubs, and by the end of the movie he has a World Series ring on. The movie is called "Rookie of the Year" and its a good movie don't get me wrong, but I guess some nice writer in Hollywood who was a Cubs fan was like if we can't actually win the World Series I'll write a movie where we did win the World Series. LOL got your ass's Cubs fans. Now since my business is done go listen to the episode and if you don't agree with our list send us an e-mail at sportsthe nemoway@gmail.com. One last thing I'm pretty sure the Cubs won in "Back to the Future 2". So I guess that gives the Cubs two fake titles and Lebum James have one fake title. Even comparing his titles to other sports he still can't be the G.O.A.T. of fake titles. Peace

MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Milwaukee Brewers

MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Milwaukee Brewers

In this episode of Sports the NEMO Way we bring the best Brewers of all time to the table for discussion. What can I say about Milwaukee? Well they have beer that's something, Have you ever tried Milwaukee's Best? If you haven't you not really missing anything. It's one of those beers that taste like ass, but you can get a thirty pack for like 10 bucks. Buyers beware it may be a cheap drunk, but you're gonna feel like your stomach got snatched from your belly by aliens got experimented on then reinserted. Your head is no exception it will feel like it got inserted in to a blender then hit with a two by four. If you want to come to a state with real beer come to Missouri ha ha suck it Milwaukee, Suck it Dame time hows your vacation feel. Anyway this is a baseball episode about the Brewers and I don't have a beef with you so I'll leave you alone this week. One last thing before you go learn about some great Brewers players. Hey Bucks I got your game balls right here, and where is here you ask well.. I have them here in the eastern conference finals go Pacers baby go Pacers.

MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Cincinnati Reds

MLB's Mount Rushmore Series: Cincinnati Reds

In this episode of Sports the NEMO Way we bring the best of the Cincinnati Red to the table for discussion. Back in the day when I was into collecting baseball cards, and was into watching baseball this is when I was in high school I'm about to hit 40 in July so its been awhile. Anyway this was my team Barry Larkin to Reggie Sanders, and before all these guys we had the big red machine, Pete Rose and Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan. Even Ken Griffey Jr. Graced us with is presence. I never planned for this to turn into story time with Ray the tech guy, but this is whats happening. So last story then you can go listen to the episode. When I was collecting all these baseball cards, these cards also became my rolla dex because I also had a Super Nintendo and a game called Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, and on this game all the teams were licensed but non of the teams had real player names. So I would hit my cards and as a young die hard fan I was I would pick my Reds every time I played. Before I played I would rename my players because that's the kind of fan I was sounds stupid but I was like.. lets say probably around 10 ish so its whatever. Anyway there is a heartfelt story about a kid who evolved into a man who shits on Lebum James every week. Now go listen to the episode.
