There are the serialized Tales of Corwin, beginning with "The Pastor and the Priestess" -- the story of how a Wiccan priestess and a Christian pastor find magic and romance in a small Midwestern town.



One day you’ll be on the interstate in Illinois, and you’ll come across the exit for Corwin. Welcome to our home town! It’s well worth a visit. There’s a little tavern here, the Rose and Feather; try the special soup, if you’re feeling adventurous. (Don’t worry: they’re always experimenting, but they never turn you into anything unnatural.) There’s a fine little church there too, the Corwin Congregational Church; ask the pastor if he’ll give you the tour. While you’re at it, you might try asking him about the town; there’s always more going on in a place like this than folks expect.



If you can’t find him at the church, ask for him at the Rose and Feather. He and the woman who runs the tavern live together in that big old house at the end of Amber Street. Kids used to say it was haunted, but that was before the pastor started fixing it up. He did a lot of that work by himself, you know. He’s a capable guy, a man with both feet on the ground.
