    This episode represents part two of my interview with former NFL linebacker Ryan Shazier. December 4, 2017, Shazier became paralyzed after making a routine tackle against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night football. In this episode, Ryan talks about that night, about his faith, about, the rehab it took to bring him back to be able to walk again. Although he tried valiantly to regain the ability to play football again, his career official ended in 2020. We also talk about the Ryan Shazier fund and the research that is being done for individuals with spinal cord injuries.

    Ryan Shazier is a retired NFL linebacker who earned Pro Bowl honors for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Shazier suffered a spinal cord injury while making a tackle on December 4, 2017. He was left a paraplegic, though after spinal stabilization surgery Shazier learned to walk again. Two years later, he effectively announced his retirement from football . The onetime star at the Ohio State University talked about his early development, college, and pro experiences and we talked about the injury, the rehabilitation , his faith, his struggles but quite a bit about his hopes and dreams . He was recently named the winner of the Build the Bridge 2023 high school football coach of the year. Saulter became the first African-American head football coach in the Suburban League when he was hired in 2022.     Cameron Joyce is the head coach of the St. Ignatius Wildcats State champion basketball team in Cleveland, Ohio. He just finished his 5th season and has already taken the Wildcats to the Final Four 3 times, with this years team winning it all.
    Joyce is the son of legendary Akron St. Vincent St. Mary coach Dru Joyce II. His older brother Dru was just named the head coach at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Cam talked about his Dads, and brothers influences and on what it was like watching his big brother play ball with LeBron James. How did Joyce remake his 23-24 Wildcats team this year that featured constant pressure and tempo? And what aspects of the environment at St. Ignatius aided Joyce and his team to be successful.
