The 40-Year-Old Version: Coming of Age (w/ Helen Selka‪)‬ Her International Film Festival

    • Filme e TV

We are delighted to welcome Helen Selka onto the podcast this week as we discuss the intersection of age and gender in the film industry.
Helen is a documentary filmmaker whose work has been screened at film festivals in Ireland and the UK. She sees documentary as an exploration of what it means to be human. She uses digital video to create intimate portraits of people and everyday life, and her work is informed by her acting training at RADA.
As well as making films, she sits on the board of the Women Over 50 in Film Festival, and mentors other documentary filmmakers.
