This is something I had growing up as a singer that was invaluable to my learning how to sing at my potential. The support, joy and knowledge I got from the many amazing communities I was in is the reason I can do what I do.

There are lots of singers who are just one step away from finding their voice in this world and often times being in a great community is the missing link.

A community not only provides a place to share music but it's a place to make friends who are on the same path and who 'get you'.

It's a place where you can be accountable to actually do what you say you're going to do and what you know you should do.

There's no stopping a great singer with a supportive community behind him/her!

This is the most important factor in singing at your potential or having a successful career.
It's not only talent. There are plenty of very talented singers who never reached their potential.
And there are lots of less talented singers who have great careers.
How do you account for this?
Consistency and determination.
Talent doe NOT always win.
Consistency does.

In this episode I show you exactly how I learn a difficult song while sitting in my car waiting for my son.
I'm armed with only the song on my phone and a pitch pipe app on my phone. 
There is a system for learning a song professionally, and when you do this right you'll surprise yourself by being able to sing much more difficult songs than you thought you could sing.
Most singers do NOT do any of the things I'm about to show you.
In my humble opinion this is one of the most important podcasts I've made to date.
