The booth… take 5!

This week the boys enter the booth shocked from the recent batter revolved around the current and future state of the Chiefs, the “out of know where” revival of "butt fumble" Sanchez in the nation’s capital, and the hot start for the Michigan Wolverines in college hoops.

The boys then give their classic picks of the week with a lock and an upset; however, with no impressive game of the week, the boys resort to middle school shenanigans to replace the third pick. Erotic, yet playful, the boys put crazy stakes on improbable games of the upcoming week.

With the Fantasy Football season wrapping up, Luke and Matt discuss their discontent with the seasons' outcome, as Ben delights in the hope for his future success moving into the playoffs. For those who did make the playoffs… the boys provide a brief insight into their suggested must-starts and must-bench.

Further discussion into the football world takes the boys into a more detailed analysis of the College Football playoffs. With Georgia out and Oklahoma in, the boys discuss the outcomes of the final say of the committee.

Turning to the world of Basketball, the boys briefly discuss the current state of the NCAA, and what teams have a legit chance in the tournament. Followed by the brief interest in the rising underdogs of Furman. Go Paladins!

Lastly, the boys round off the night with the friendly game of Know it or Blow it. Who does Lebron need in LA? Do the Cardinals or 49ers present a more appealing coaching job? Is Aaron Rodger or Matt Ryan having a worse year? And.. is Razor Shines or Fair Hooker a cooler name?

WEEK FOUR!

The boys go over their Static Shocks of the week, with Ben throwing out a particularly salty take for the University of Michigan listeners. Picks of the week start to become increasingly hot with Ben already starting out way behind the pack, and he describes how it feels to have a double-dip backfire on you. The college football playoff is nearing, The Booth discusses whether or not the playoff should be expanded. Matt, Ben, and Luke discuss NFL takes, and converse about why Blake Bortles has/had a job, but Colin Kaepernick doesn’t. Ben stays local for this next and new segment, The State of the Spartans, as they look at the last-minute loss in OT to Louisville. In the hot take minute, Matt and Ben join together as forces to show Luke why defense doesn’t matter in the NFL anymore. To wrap the show up, Luke hits us with what is so far your favorite segment, Know it or Blow it.
