Tiger Stories, a podcast from Chattanooga State Community College, is the place to share the stories from our campus community with you. At Chattanooga State, we believe every member of our campus, students, faculty and staff belongs here and because we know that belonging matters, we're excited to share the stories of those who make up the unique, diverse and supportive community on our campus. You'll often hear people on this podcast talk about Chattanooga State as having the feel of a family. We are so proud to be part of an institution that welcomes people from across the community to come here and pursue their dreams. Episode 38: Two students, Warner and Edward, talk about how COVID impacted students
This episode is the eleventh in our special summer series on Tiger Stories, focusing on how Chattanooga State has adjusted to the events of the last three months. How has COVID-19 impacted us? How is our College thinking about this moment in history? You'll find out in these special episodes featuring students interviewing members of our campus community about these uncertain times.
In this episode, two students -- Warner and Edward -- talk about how COVID-19 changed their experiences in the spring semester. Warner graduated in May, so she finished out her last eight weeks at ChattState remotely. This episode is a fun discussion between two students that reflects the sense of community at our College, even when we cannot be together. They end by imploring you to wear your mask and stop the spread of COVID.

Episode 37: Tammy McDonough talks to Tiffany Patterson about student needs during the pandemic
This episode is the tenth in our special summer series on Tiger Stories, focusing on how Chattanooga State has adjusted to the events of the last three months. How has COVID-19 impacted us? In this episode, student Tiffany Patterson talks with Tammy McDonough, who works in the Student Support Center as the coordinator of educational outreach programs and retention. Students know they can call "Ms. Tammy" when they're facing challenges -- be that a need for food assistance, housing help, car trouble, or many other things. Tammy has a real heart for helping students overcome the life challenges that make college success difficult.
